Why Mentorship
As men, we are exceptionally complex. We grow when we are challenged, encouraged, and called upwards by another man who meets us where we are and helps us navigate life's deep waters.
Too many men are traversing the hardest seasons of life alone.
Our MissionHeart of a Mentor exists to build men into character-driven, committed disciples of Jesus equipped with life skills to forge healthy, life-giving relationships at home, at work, and in their communities.
We match men with mentors based on life stage, experience, and the areas they most want to grow in: from marriage and finances to faith, healing, and calling.
How it works
Apply
Fill out a short application so we can understand where you are and what you're looking for, whether you want to become a mentor or be mentored.
Get matched
Our team reviews your application intentionally and pairs you with someone whose experience aligns with your needs. Finding the right fit is vital!
Meet regularly
You and your mentor meet on a schedule that works for both of you and we will check in along the way! If the fit isn't strong, we will happily connect you to another mentor.
Mentor Training
All HOAM Mentors have been vetted, trained, and will soon go through a certification process to ensure, if they're recommended by HOAM, they have the tools to walk with you through life's challenges or the connections to point to those who do.
